Funded Projects

Studies backed by the IQRAA Internal Research Grant and by national funding agencies.

Research at ICRD is funded by national agencies such as the ICMR and the DHR, and through the hospital’s own internal grant scheme.

Government-funded projects

Government-funded projects are studies supported by national research funding agencies such as the ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) and the DHR (Department of Health Research), typically carried out in collaboration with other academic and research institutions, with IQRAA/ICRD faculty serving as Principal or Co-Principal Investigators.

Internal and institutional projects

Internal projects are studies funded through the IQRAA Internal Research Grant (IIRG), the hospital’s own research funding scheme. IIRG supports short-term (up to 12 months) clinical and basic science research led by IQRAA physicians, medical students, PhD scholars and healthcare professionals, with funding of up to ₹4,00,000 per project. Projects are selected on academic merit and research potential, must be led and primarily conducted at IQRAA, and all resulting data and outputs are attributed to the hospital.
